Happy Birthday Lucy Jane

I can't believe that my sweet 6 pound 6 ounce little angel is already one whole year old.  This has been the most amazing year of my life!  From sleepless nights, to rolling over, crawling, walking, and now runing everywhere.....I love my little girl more each day!  I love hearing her say "Mama"  and holding her arms up for me to hold her, I love her hugs when I wake her up and grab her from her crib in the mornings, I love her smile as I pick her up each afternoon, I love her giggle as she does something funny, I love how she wants to sit in my lap and just wiggle all over me in the evenings.....I even love when she is cranky and only wants ME!  I am so thankful that I have been blessed with a happy, healthy, CHUNKY, precious baby girl!  I hope that I can be the example that I need to be to raise my daughter to love the Lord, be kind hearted, sweet spirited, even tempered, and have a heart for others.

Her birthday was on Friday, so I took cupcakes to Missy's house so she could celebrate with her friends! I told you her sitter was wonderful....to let 5 little ones have cupcakes AND manage to take pictures! :)

We had he party with our family on Saturday.  She had a great time and was ready for a nap by the time it was all over!  She loved her cake and all of her presents!  Here are a few pictures!

Easter Sunday

The Easter Bunny came to see Lucy Jane this morning!  I sat her basket beside the front door just like my mom used to do for us!  Rich and I brought her into the living room to see how long it took her to find her goodies!  She found them right away and was super excited to see what was inside!

We had nursery duty at church this morning.  We keep the 4-year olds.  Rich and I decided to just let Lucy Jane stay with us instead of going to her own class.  She loved playing with the older kiddos!

Lucy Jane got to see her future husband, Brylen!  Yes, I am going to have an arranged marraige for her!

We went to my mom and dads for lunch today.  Mom cooked a yummy meal and we all sat around and talked and watched LJ act silly.  She is at such a fun age!  She goes non-stop until its time for bed!  Sure do love her!  Mom decorated her dining room so cute for Easter.  :)

Lucy Jane enjoyed opening her Easter goodies from her Nana, too.  She had already opened her goodies from her Mamaw, and us, so she was getting the hang of things!

                    Happy Easter from the Richardson's!
