Halloween 2012

What a fun night! I have never been big in celebrating Halloween for many obvious reasons, but have come to the conclusion it is what you make it! If you make it a scary evil night then that is what it becomes. For my family, I want to have fun dressing up and going to visit neighbors and letting Lucy Jane enjoy getting candy! That is exactly what we did this year!

We are so lucky to live in a safe and fun neighborhood! I let Lucy Jane pick out her very own costume to wear to KIds Day Out at church. She picked a Minnie Mouse costume that she wanted to wear from target! On the way to school (before I could even get a decent picture) she tore the seam in her dress! Instead of spending money on another costume I decided to let her wear the same one she wore last year!

I dressed her up as a kitty cat and we got the wagon ready and headed down the street to meet up with our friends, the Johnson's. she was so excited to ride with Wyatt in the wagon and go door to door saying trick or treat and picking a piece of candy from their basket! She absolutely LOVES every second of it! :).

Our neighbors always set up a big to do in their yard for everyone to enjoy! This year they did a Disney extravaganza! It was wonderful!!! They had a carriage and all the Disney characters in full costume! Lucy Jane is all about some princesses, so she was in heaven! I hope to always create fun memories with my family! Tonight was definitely one of them! Her excitement was so contagious and made me giggly just watching her constant smile!

We Love Our baby Hoyt

Lucy Jane is in love with her sweet cousin Hoyt! She has named all her baby dolls Baby Hoyt and has to face time him daily! She will hold the phone and pretend she is rocking him and sings him sweet songs! I love how much she loves him! I can only hope she loves her baby brother this much when he gets here in March! Here are a few pictures that show just how much she loves her sweet baby! Info think she is a little jealous that Tee Tee has her own baby now and LJ has to share her! She is very attached to her Tee Tee!!!

Stop, Drop, and Roll

What a fun day for Lucy Jane today! They have been learning about fire safety at her Kid's Day Out! Her teachers are wonderful and do such a great job teaching 13 little 2-year olds! We are very thankful for them and the job they do with our little one!

Today, the firemen came and brought their fire trucks for the kids to see at school! Lucy Jane loved seeing them and touring their trucks! Her teachers, Mrs. Heather and Mrs. Heather, we're kind enough to share some pictures of their day!

Sweet Baby Hoyt

We had a very exciting weekend! Thursday, Tee Tee and Josh welcomed their perfect little boy into their family! We were so excited to meet this sweet little boy! Nothing can prepare you for the feeling of a new sweet baby! :)

We are so thankful for a happy healthy baby boy! Lucy Jane is so excited to have a new little cousin! She wasn't able to meet him because of hospital rules....but Tuesday we have a special date! She face times with him multiple times a day! So so happy for Tee Tee and Josh and so glad they share him with us! :)

Golfing Girl :)

Rich has always loved to play golf! Recently, he has been finding more time to play since he is not working in and out of town so much! Sunday night, the weather was wonderful and Lucy Jane and I were invited to join him out on the course! Lucy Jane is all about spending time with her daddy right now! She loved riding in the golf car and putting around with her daddy! Okay, she really really loved playing in the sand pits at each hole! (shhh!)

I love nights like this where we just hang out and enjoy being together!

My Little Copycat

A few months ago I started going to the chiropractor to relieve some lower back pain that I got tired of dealing with! My friend, Courtney, recommended a great office to visit!

I was VERY skeptical and still don't agree with everything they teach but it has overall been a great experience! One of the things I told them when I started was that Lucy Jane would be coming with me. I am not going to hire a babysitter multiple times a week!

She has gotten the routine down! I finally remembered to take some pictures of her while we were there!

Daddy and Daughter

Lucy Jane is really in a clingy stage right now! She is always wanting me to be within an arms reach! For the most part, it is great but every now and then I'd love to hide! :) don't judge moms....you've been there!

Lately, she has really been wanting her Daddy to be her play buddy! You can see in her eyes how much she adores him and the attention he gives her! They have their own little games they play that are special to just the two of them! For example...when she says Bop Bop Bop she wants to walk on his feet while he holds her hands and walk around the house saying Bop Bop Bop together! So silly, but she loves it!

Rich has a hard time slowing down enough to just relax, play, and enjoy her sometimes but here lately I think she is really stealing his heart! She wants to sit outside and wait for him to come home from work, pim (swim) with him, she wants Daddy to push her high on the swings, and watch her do flips everywhere! Her personality is developing and she is quite funny! I think there is something very special about a little girl and her relationship with her Daddy! I've can't wait to see how their relationship grows as she gets even more fun!
